Solid and heavy retaining block units are the most stabilizing and affordable type of walls. Depending on the type of block used, they may be pinned together with non corrosive, nylon-fiberglass pins or may use the lip system, sometimes called gravity wall.  The cost is comparable to concrete masonry walls and natural stone walls but their great curb appeal and longevity beat both by far.  With no mortar used it is less likely to crumble with time. There are many choices of styles, colors and textures that will suit your needs and design.  Segmental walls can be built for all residential or commercial landscaping needs.
